The property is in a great location, close to supermarket, shopping, food etc. large enough to accommodate our family and friends of 20. The beach is about 8 minutes walk. The kids enjoyed the pool very much. If you are in the area you must try Melts ice cream. The house overall is in need of up grade. One bathroom upstairs has no shower head, we were told by management that its a bath and not a shower which made it very inconvenient for the adults using that specific one. House keeping needs to do a better job at cleaning, we had to call to get the shower curtain changed which was very dirty. Management was prompt in getting someone to the house to get it changed. House was very dusty with a moldy smell. There were multiple small roaches in the downstairs kitchen. Utensils that were used prior to our arrival were placed back in drawer and knife holder without being washed, very disgusting. Overall, house is not bad, management needs to supervise closely to ensure cleanliness and upgrading when needed

I really liked the layout and everything was very clean. One of the bathroom upstairs did not have a shower head but we made due. Great place for a large group.

As you can tell by the title, the house was everything we needed it to be. A getaway for 8 ladies in need of some rest and relaxation.

We walked to the beach, and was a short distance for anything else we needed or wanted. We had to grandmothers who were ready to book a vacation ,just for the pool alone. There was enough room for families to be together or apart.

I really enjoyed the rental it met all my needs . It was beautiful very peaceful neighborhood. The grounds were beautiful. I loved the pool shed it had bikes for you to ride and I truly loved riding on the bikes it was experience that I have not experienced in years.

We spent a week at Cape Myrtle and loved it. First family vacation for us and enjoyed by all.The house was perfect for large family .The layout of the house made it perfect plenty of bedrooms ;bathrooms .2 laundry areas which was so handy with lots of clothes and towels to wash.We’ve really enjoyed being a short distance from the beach . It made it private at night especially and gave us the opportunity to spend time outdoors poolside late into the night. The pool was definitely the biggest hit .all the family young and old enjoyed the pool games and fun.The few times I called for different needs the response was quick and efficient.I loved the location and all the flowers . Noted all were well taken care of ! I would recommend this house!

Great location for our family vacation. A short walk to the beach and pool time was what we needed. The house was great for ideal for family game night and enough space for teenagers to enjoy upstairs sitting area. Will book again!!!

The house was pretty much as described except no foosball table. We also couldn't get most of the TVs to turn on. One of the bottom bedroom's 2 mattress bed bug covers were ripped and just tucked under the mattress. Housekeeping shouldn't have left those that way. I don't know how often the pool company comes but the pool had some sand in it. There aren't any seasonings or trash bags, besides the one in the can when you arrive, for renters to use. We had a problem with the upstairs dryer ruining some of our clothes but Owner Direct Vacation Rentals made it right without a hassle. All of the employees we talked with at Owner Direct Vacation Rental were great and friendly. They know how to treat people! I wish I'd have known to book directly with them instead of paying extra funds through VRBO. But now I know! The pool was very relaxing!

We had a blast. Our own private pool. Plenty of room for all our guests. We liked it so much we've already booked the property for next year!

Glad to hear you had a blast. Cape Myrtle House is a great 2-story beach home offers 5000 sq. ft. comfortably sleeps up to 24 people features 8 bedrooms and 4 baths plenty of room for everyone. There is a large beautiful yard, with a high private fence, outdoor seating and dining area, pool w/ lounge chairs and 2 charcoal grills. There are front and rear decks and a large paved area around the pool for sunbathing, what more could you need. Spring break with my children and grandchildren, 24 people total! We all loved the house, very clean and spacious, and in a beautiful, quiet clean neighbor hood. The house was supplied with everything we needed, including a margarita maker! :) everyone loved the pool and we were just a couple blocks from the beach(the best of both worlds!) A twenty minute drive to South Myrtle Beach and boardwalk. Stores were just minutes away , easy to stock up on the supplies we needed. I would highly recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a home away from home get away!

This house was great for our family of 15-16. The house was close to a great beach access with a bathroom and public parking. The pool was great, we spent a lot of time there. The staff at the office where we checked in were so nice and helpful. This house was close to stores and restaurants. Also, close to our favorite pizza place, Basil's. Would recommend this house.

Duplicate floor plans with a kitchen in each unit, it really helps when the group outgrows a large condo. can always rent a golf cart to make those trips to the beach a breeze! The house itself was fine, the kitchen needs to be upgraded, specially the stove, but everything else was comfortable.Great location, walking distance to the beach, restaurants and stores. The only complaint that I have is with the owners pool tech. He was rude, had a few inappropriate comments and would just walk in without introducing himself. The property management sent the cleaning crew at 8:15AM, even though I stated I was leaving at 10AM.

This vacation was a good reason to get the family together. It was great to meet newly added family members. The Cape Myrtle house was beautiful inside and out. The kids greatly enjoyed the private pool because they could swim any time they wanted. The price was reasonable. It was a great experience !!!

It is only blocks to the wonderful white sandy dunes of the Crescent Beach area, and the best public access with showers, bathrooms and parking. You can always add a golf cart rental for your next trip and have tons of fun shuttling the kids to the beach or out at night for ice cream excursions. location! was fantastic, our kids spent the week between the pool and the ocean on a pretty consistent basis. The kitchens where adequate, although the pots and pans left lots to be desired if you plan on cooking, it is possible to create big meals but not easy, and the quality of the cook ware is very poor. The only other dig would be trash, they make you put it in your car and find a dumpster, very odd - overall the house is great as long as you plan on eating out and not creating a lot of trash; think gross food in a trash bag in your car ��

We had a great time staying at Cape Myrtle. We had a family gathering from New York, Florida and North Carolina. We all enjoy our time. The house accommodate us perfectly. The house was a little outdated but overall great house for a large family.
