Comfortable, clean, sprawling/roomy... location was perfect to play golf at different courses. The furnishings from dining table, beds, sofa were all extremely comfortable. Rooms are all large and spacious. Will return this summer for SC sun and fun. Oh and the beach was gorgeous and literally a 5 minute drive away. Highly recommend for adults with or without children.
Thank you so much for this great recommendation! We are over the moon to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with us! We look forward to your next visit!

My husband and I wanted to play golf, relax and do some holiday shopping.
We enjoyed awesome weather and some incredible golf... ok, so my game was not so great, but still had so much fun on the Norman, Love and Fazio courses right there in Barefoot.
We brought our Fire Stick with us and were able to catch up on so many Netflix and movies on the new, large flat screen TV. In fact, I sat in bed watching my shows while my husband watched some football in the living room. All TVs were new and perfect!
Plenty of wonderful shopping from small boutiques to large department stores, we were pretty much able to complete our Santa list.
Although we did eat out quite a bit, I did cook some meals at home as the kitchen had everything I needed to make breakfast and even a few dinners.
Loved this place so much, we are booked for next August and bringing our Grandchild with us.
Thank you Owner Direct Vacation Rental for welcoming us and making our stay that much more pleasant!

We are golfers and beach lovers so this was perfect for us. The beaches are beautiful and there are such a large variety of golf courses that are reasonably priced that you can’t go wrong. There are also a variety of restaurants nearby and a grocery store for times when you want to make your own. The kitchen is well supplied for this too.
Thank you for this review! Happy you and your golf buddies enjoyed! Looking forward to seeing you and the crew again!

Great condo overall. Space worked for us, location, all good. I book with VRBO often and have learned that I now need to ask about area construction. This condo was undergoing rebricking on the exterior. Each morning, by 8:30, we were awakened by construction workers. Not only could we hear the banging, we could distinctly hear the conversations, etc. We could not open the blinds to let the sun shine in, nor could we sit on the porch to have morning coffee. Kinda worked because we were forced to get up early and enjoy the day, however, there were no afternoon naps, for the same reasons. Again, the condo was excellent. We did not complain during the stay. There was obviously nothing that could be done at that point. Lesson learned.
Thank you for the thoughtful and detailed review. We understand your frustration with the local HOA projects during your stay. Those things are usually done in the off-season winter months but there was some urgency due to water damages at this particular time. Thank you for your patience. We know you have a lot of choices these days and we appreciate that you chose this great unit. The owner has worked very hard to update this condo and give guests the best essentials for a fantastic vacation getaway. You didn't mention a day at the pool or the fabulous Windy Hill beaches but we will assume that was the best part of your week! Thanks again.

Our condo in Arbor Trace was very nice. The owner, Odette, is very accommodating and friendly! It was very clean and beautiful. She provided bedding and towels and there are also beach chairs available. Unfortunately, out stay was cut short due to the impending storms with hurricane Dorian in the area. What I was most unhappy with was the treatment by the ODVR employees. My father is in a wheelchair and on oxygen and when the "mandatory" evacuation was announced, they were not accommodating at all. I needed to make arrangements to get oxygen for my dad's return trip, but they were not understanding at all. Their concern was getting their renters out so they could leave and prepare for the evacuation themselves. They told me to call a hospital or another company, but we HAD to be out on Monday. My dad's oxygen wasn't going to be available until Tuesday. I did a lit of calling and drove to meet the delivery truck with the oxygen and we did leave on Monday as we were forced to do. When I called Tuesday to let them know they would need to let Lincare into the unit to retrieve the home oxygen unit, they were in the office! They had made it very clear that they would be following the mandated evacuation, as they were requiring their renters to do, but yet they were in the office the next day, so they didn't follow the evacuation request. They causes unneccessary stress and anxiety for my father, who already has a very difficult time breathing and forced me to drive over an hour to track down the delivery truck to get the oxygen needed for our return trip. Very cold and callous treatment by the office personnel at ODVR.
We are sorry to hear you did not have a good experience. Unfortunately the Governor had mandated a mandatory evacuation due to Hurricane Dorian. While we would have loved to have all of our guests stay, your safety is our #1 priority. While it sounds you were upset a few people were in the office tying up loose ends Tuesday, we are happy were to be able to put out the oxygen take for you when you called Tuesday. While all natural disasters can be stressful, we are happy that all of the office personnel at ODVR were safe and homes secure and everyone was safe. Hope to see you again soon.

The vacation rental was in great shap. It was very neat and clean. Loved The location! I would definitely recommend this vacation rental.
Thank you for the recommendation. This great little condo in Arbor Trace is tucked onto one of the golf courses in BareFoot Landing, so you have a green natural setting off of the private screened porch and the community pool is just steps from the front door. You didn't mention it, but guest of all of the BareFoot communities also have access to use the giant salt-water pool at the North Tower Resort, too. The owner does have a great touch when it comes to a vibrant decor. We are glad that you had a great stay and look forward to hearing from you about plans to return.
