New owners for this summer. Wonderfully spacious, fun, 2 level condo, directly across the street from the beach -- considered first row. Located in the Windy Hill area of North Myrtle Beach, a family friendly, perfect vacation spot.
Island Palms D1 is a well designed condo within a small complex of only 4 units total. The condo is a third floor walk up, sorry NO elevators. There is shaded garage parking beneath the building, for two cars only. Inside this unit, offers a combined living room/kitchen area with plenty of seating to gather for family time meals, including a breakfast bar, or game night after a day at the beach, or watch a movie on the large flat screen. There is a well appointed kitchen with full size appliances, granite countertops, updated flooring and with everything you need for eat in or take out. Dining seats 4, bar seats 2 and an outdoor table set for 4 more.
The condo offers 4 bright and airy bedrooms with windows or glass sliding doors for salty breezes and endless sunshine. There is new laminate flooring (Nov 2020) throughout both upstairs and downstairs. There are two bedrooms and two baths on each floor. There is a private bathroom for each of the four bedrooms, so no time wasted waiting your turn! Each bedroom has individual access to balcony space for fresh air and morning coffee or sunset views before bed. Every bedroom also has its own wall-mounted, flat screen tv.
UPSTAIRS: The master bedroom has a queen bed and a private en-suite bath (w/ tub) with a private balcony. Just step outside with your morning coffee for a peak of the ocean.
The second bedroom has a queen bed, private bath (hallway w/tub) and a private covered balcony.
DOWNSTAIRS: The third bedroom offers space for the kids with bunks (lower bunk is full, upper bunk is twin). This room also has access to the largest sun deck on the beach side of the home. This room pairs with the hall bath (shower/ tub with glass sliding doors)
The fourth bedroom has a full bed, private bath (shower only w/ glass sliding door) and shared balcony -- offering access to the large beach side sundeck, shared only with the kids bunk room next door and great lounge chairs to soak in the sun.
If you need a dip, head down by the condo's pool and let your cares float away. If you are looking to come to the beach, relax and unwind, then Island Palms (D1) is the oasis for you.
LOCAL WINDY HILL FAVORITES... nearby you'll find Hamburger Joe's - a popular choice for a casual lunch. For a memorable dining experience, try the more upscale Joe's Bar & Grill or the Cajun-style cuisine at Crossroads, the music-themed restaurant at the House of Blues. You'll be just across the boulevard from the ocean in Windy Hill, the southernmost area of North Myrtle Beach, and just a short drive from Barefoot Landing - a shopper's dream and home to the Alabama Theatre, Duplin Winery, and Alligator Adventure.

Our vacation rental experience was excellent at the Island Palms D1 location! The home was exactly how it was depicted in the photos. Lots of space for a large group vacationing together. Our group included two families and we had plenty of room to be together as well as be apart. The proximity to the beach was second to none - it was great to be able to walk across the street and be on the beach! The location of the home was also great for visiting Barefoot Landing and other local eateries and sightseeing options. We would 100% rent the Island Palms D1 location again when we are in the area and recommend it to family and friends!!
