The condo is tastefully decorated with colorful, eclectic touches by the owner. Your reservation will include bed and bath linens, with beds freshly made upon arrival, departure cleaning, and a small starter kit of paper products and soaps. The family room offers a large smart TV for movie night or sports watching marathons! The kitchen is newly stocked with all the essentials for gathering around a great home-cooked family meal at the dinner table. Or make it dinner & drinks under the stars from the balcony.
There are four bedrooms -- one queen beds, one queen bed and two full beds and a large spacious master with a king. There are 3 bathrooms -- one super spacious for the master with separate glass enclosure shower and jetted tub, then a jack-and-jill for two of the bedrooms to share, and a full bath is attached to the 3rd guestroom but is shared as the hall bath. This large but cozy condo sleeps 10 comfortably.
The Ashworth is a modern complex with 4 interior elevators for easy access, covered garage parking and well maintained grounds. The lush landscaping w/ fountains will impress. There is a charcoal grilling area, so you can plan a trip to the local fish market for a fresh seafood dinner. The complex offers an indoor heated pool, outdoor pool with a fabulous sundeck, kiddie pool and a lazy river for floating the day away. There is an enormous ocean-side hot tub to take the cares of the world away. If you have a larger group, the NMB city parks and rec department offers a paid service for umbrella and chair rentals, just along the beach directly in front of the complex -- for your convenience, they will set up rentals every morning, by 9am and take them down every afternoon about 5p.
No smoking, no motorcycles or trailers and no pets allowed at this property.
Just minutes away, in the heart of Windy Hill, North Myrtle Beach is our most popular destination, Barefoot Landing. Enjoy broadway-style live musical productions at The Alabama Theatre. Famous concert performances are a regular at the House of Blues and over 100 shops and restaurants criss-cross the boardwalks over the open waters. The waterfront complex has undergone a huge makeover in 2019 to bring in fresh new specialty boutiques and great eateries. There are kids attractions and weekly summer outdoor concerts to go with the fireworks displays. You'll find everything from the best beach wear, shoe shopping, wonderful sweet shops filled with treats, to LIVE alligators and tigers to amaze. You can rent jet skis on the Waterway, cruise in a dinner boat, rent a pontoon or guided fishing expedition, and even enjoy the views from one of the fantastic BareFoot restaurants It will be a special event to add to your beach memories.

The condo was the right size for the 8 of us. We enjoyed the pools and beach. The area around the condo was also convenient. There was an issue with the dish washer that I was aware of from reading a previous review by a tenant on VRBO.
Our greatest disappointment was lack of communication from the Owner Direct Rental staff. I had called a week ahead of time to make sure I had an approved check in time. I was giving a check-in time of 1100 hrs due to no renters being in the condo for several days before my arrival and the condo was already clean and ready for my family. They made a note in my file that we wound be arriving at 1100hrs on 16th of August. When I arrived at Owner Direct Rental to check in I was informed that we could not get in the room due to a family having to be placed in there because of an A/C issue where they had been staying. I was told I had about an hour to an hour and half wait. If they had called me when this issue arose I could have adjusted my departure time so that the delay was not an issue. For the price we pay I expected better service.

Unit was average. Seemed a little dirty and the sheets were so pilled we thought it was sand at first. Be careful of your feet when you open the dishwasher as the door was sprung. Coffee pot works, but there were parts in it when we arrived. First floor location is handy, but can be noisy. Parking was no problem. Pools and beach were good. Probably should have built a larger pool for all the units there. Location is very good and the management company was easy to deal with.
