The location was great. I forgot a pair of jeans that had some important staff in it. I was told it was never to be found. It should seriously raise a flag on the cleaning and inspection department.

Your review is quite harsh regarding this property although you did not mention any specific problems. You never contacted our office during your stay with any cleaning or maintenance issues that we could promptly address. While we are sorry that your personal items went "missing", this seems like an unfair retaliation for your own failure to collect your belongings at departure. We spend an enormous amount of time each week of the summer returning valuables to guest, from jewelry, to electronics, to well-loved stuffed animals, to bathing suits and flip flops. In your call to inform us of the "missing jeans" you explained that you "hid them between folded blankets in a closet". Then by the time, the next guest arrived, the very same day as your departure, there is no way to confirm if, when or who found the items. We do not take responsibility for items left behind by guests but are always willing to try to connect them with their rightful owner. Please consider what a negative impact you are projecting onto our business and the owner due to YOUR frustration of YOUR lost items.

Loved our family vacation! Size of beds in rooms was great since we had 4 couples. No one had to sleep in twin or full! Kitchen had lots of gadgets but only had 2 drinking glasses. Owner had lots of beach chairs, umbrellas and toys but many are broken.

Thank you for the thoughtful review. We agree -- this private home, "A Bit of Paradise" is just that! It is spacious and comfortable for large groups with four bedrooms, a large family room to gather for tv or movies, great meals, or friendly game night. There are two great balconies to enjoy a little daydreaming at the end of the evening. The location makes it easy to walk over to the beautiful Windy Hill Beaches or to hop in the car and within 5 minutes, be at BareFoot Landing for dinner and entertainment -- live music and live wild animals! There is something for everyone to do in our great little beach town. Thank you for letting us know how much you enjoyed this house and we hope to hear from you about plans to return.

We have stayed here 2 winters. This home is spotless and beautiful. The 2 flights of stairs to get up to the main level can be a challenge if you have a disability but the main floor master with the huge bathroom and full bathtub is a bonus. The kitchen is very well equipped with some quality goods. The second year we found the home even more spotless than the first! Highly recommended!

The ODVR team were equally impressive. We had a small issue when we checked in and within an hour it was solved by their efficient team.

Four very tired friends had some great R&R; in this lovely vacation home. The amenities were great and the rental staff was helpful with installing new cable for the room tvs. It is in a lovely neighborhood near the beach.

Everything was perfect. Having all neccessary items there made our time more relaxing.

My family stayed here for 8 days; we were in town for a softball tournament. It was perfect for the 8 of us to stay. Everyone had enough room and it was so close to the beach. You could see the ocean from the balcony. It was nice that all of the linens were included and we only had to bring beach towels. The house has plenty of beach chairs/umbrellas to use at the beach. The property management staff was great and made me feel like family. There are a lot of steep stairs to get into the house, but we had no issues. I am sure if someone were older-- they might have difficulty going up and down the stairs. The property management staff was great and made me feel like family. It was a great experience (except for the thunderstorms almost every morning LOL) and I highly recommend this place for a vacation. It was great for our 2 families....and we can't wait to come back.

The overall stay was great. Homewway was very helpful and the vacation house was good. Floors needed cleaned as they left our feet black. Stairs coming out of the house were very steep. Needs a platform at the top of them and no as steep. Would recommend to everyone.

I recently stayed at A Bit Of Paradise for a family vacation and loved it. The view from the balconies was the best part. I came down with my children, mother and sister and we enjoyed every minute. Very close to everything and the ability to use the beach supplies furnished at the home was perfect. Would definitely recommend this home anyone looking for a great vacation in North Myrtle Beach.

We gather you loved the balcony views, but hopefully you enjoyed the beautiful white Windy Hill beaches just a matter of steps from the the house, too. We recommend a golf cart rental to enjoy shuttling back and forth around the Windy Hill community or evening excursions for ice cream. There is also the close proximity to BareFoot Landing that makes this the perfect spot for an easy vacation of hitting the tourists hot-spots and tranquility when you just want to enjoy the ocean breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in "A Bit of Paradise" and would highly recommend it. The house was in a quiet, yet convenient location in Windy Hill. We rented a golf cart for the week, thinking it would be useful to get back and forth to the beach with all our gear, but the house was close enough that it took about 3 mins. to walk (so that was a bit of a waste of $). We still had fun driving the cart around the area and checking out other areas and stores/restaurant. Overall, it was an experience we'd enjoy again!

Very convenient location in a family neighborhood. Pictures do not do the home justice. Loved that the owners let guests use their boogie boards and umbrellas. Really helped with the grandchildren. Very clean except we had to wash the bedspreads. They had a distinct body odor to them. It was an easy fix as there is a convenient washer and dryer combo there.

The house was huge! Beautiful and clean inside, fully equipped, spacious and just a short walk to the beach. It was great to have access to the beach umbrellas and chairs for our use. Grocery store is close by too. Bonus to have 3 king sized beds as well as a queen and pull-out couch if needed - plenty of space for all of us and almost all bedrooms have their own bathroom! Overall, a fantastic property that we would highly recommend!!
