Crescent Shores #807 South Tropical Delight

Great week with family
We had a wonderful week with family. There was a tropical storm early in the week, but then it was beautiful! The unit seemed to have most of everything we needed. The beds weren’t the most comfortable. The location is great and being ocean front is a plus! The property management company was exceptional!

Thank you for the detailed feedback. It has been a stormy season for all of the southeast coast so very glad that you were able to make the most of your vacation time. We will share your opinion on the mattresses with the owner but please understand that it's very subjective as to whether guests feel like a bed is "too soft" or "too firm" so maybe hard to say what is the perfect comfort level. We would be interested to know what the cleaning issues were that prevented you from giving a higher score -- we always want to know if a guest finds a problem at arrival and we are more than happy to correct it immediately. Great beach access
Overall, we had a very good experience. The beach access was exceptional, the pools was great for the children, and the location was convenient to many restaurants. The view from the condo was great and the building is located right next to the parasailing. The condo layout was great, but it needs a facelift to update the decor. The freezer drawer would not open all the way from the 2nd day of our stay, but the management company was responsive and sent someone to attempt to make repairs, unfortunately it was not able to be repaired during our stay. We had 7 guests but were not supplied with enough towels for all guests but again the management company responded immediately with more than enough towels for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped but most of the pots/pans were scratched non-stick. But again, the management company responded within an hour supplying us with a brand-new set of pans. The condo did not supply hand soap, dish soap, or basic salt/pepper etc.

The Sunday-to-Sunday stay was perfect because on Saturday when most families are leaving and arriving it is crazy! The 15 min parking to load/unload on Saturday was constant. We very much appreciated the Sunday-to-Sunday rental option. We were easily able to load/unload on our arrival/departure dates and there were plenty of luggage carts available.
The small children loved Alligator Adventure, Cherry Grove Peir, mini golf. Barefoot landing has some things for children like a playground, arcade, merry-go-round. Be aware that have to pay for the merry-go-round, bunji trampoline, and small train ride which was literally 2 loops around a very small area. We ate at Lulus restaurent which was great for the children as they are able to look at the water way next to the restaurant where there are yachts and we were able walk them along the walkway while waiting for our food order.

Thank you for the detailed review that will certainly help other families make an easy decision to visit Crescent Shores. The owner has been making new improvements to this unit since they purchased it last year, at the end of 2023. I think you will see more details as the first real season is under their belt. We are always glad to facilitate any issues the guest has during their stay, such as pots and pans that have been worn from constant use. The "stuck" freezer drawer was a mystery for our maintenance, but is being serviced by a local appliance company, now. We hope to hear from you again about your next beach getaway.

Family Vacation 2023
We had a beautiful week at Crescent Shores. The views were amazing. Plenty of room for the 5 of us. Teen’s enjoyed lazy river everyday. Loved having lunch at Mollys on the beachside deck. Would definitely recommend this vacation rental. Only negative was how quickly our week passed.

Wonderful Vacation!!!!
We loved our stay, very clean, great location and view, great pool area! Minor issue: the lock on the storage unit should be replaced as it was sticking and even the lock on the front door is getting worn. Decor was very nice, although the two bedrooms with queen beds could stand to be updated. Other then those minor things our stay was great, no complaints!!!!

Decent Stay, Great location.
Overall the place was as expected. The only thing that was a bit petty was that they charged me $75 because a recliner was moved from one side of the bed to another and “they had to pay several guys to move it back.” The other couple in our group (the husband) move it to be able to get to the balcony better.

Great Beach Stay!
Prefect location, easy in and out, stores near by, tons of restaurants. Best part was the room, right on the beach! Only complaints were that the lazy river was out of service and only one elevator was working.

Snowbird Getaway Jan-March
We enjoyed a wonderful 3 months at Crescent Shores 807. Well stocked unit, master bedroom had a comfortable bed, furniture very nice although the rocking chairs may need to be updated soon. Elevators were being replaced, but should be finished by summer. Crescent Shores is very well taken care of, inside and out. We liked having covered parking across the street. Nice location in North Myrtle Beach.
ODVR is a wonderful company to deal with. Quick response to any request we had, or if something in the unit needed attention. We will be back!

Very Roomy condo wirh great views but needs aome.updates
Loved the size of the condo and the view of beach was great. The master bedroom was very nice, but the other 2 bedrooms needed some upgrades. The mattresses on all 4 queen beds need to be replaced and they were very uncomfortable. The outdoor patio needed to be pressure washed or cleaned as well. Also very disappointed that the water was shut off for an entire day due to maintenance and we were not made aware until we seen signs at condo upon arrival. Basically could not use bathrooms for the day. The TV in one of the bedrooms would not work and it was reported upon arrival but was never repaired. Technician checked and assigned to Spectrum who never showed. Would definitely recommend if upgrades were made to queen mattresses but would not until that was completed.

Crescent Shores #807 Fall vacation
Overall, the property was as expected in a location that was close to our activities. Entrance to the unit needs some up keeping, with a fresh coat of paint on the door as well as the concrete floor in the corner near the 3rd BR window, needs to be repaired. For elderly using a device or young children running it could be very dangerous. The unit itself, was nicely decorated and comfortable, though one of the beds in the 2nd bedroom (closest to the BR) sags almost to the floor. The Master bathroom, and 2nd bathroom shower drip consistently for hours, as does the kitchen sink. The TV system in all 3 bedrooms are very difficult to use. A guess shouldn't have to read the directions each time to get the system to work! 3 remotes to utilize the TV's after a day of activity is not conducive for a relaxing vacation. The sliding door in the master suite sticks making it very difficult to open. It would be so much better if there were assigned spots for parking. Some of the bigger vehicles in the garage across the street, made parking very difficult each night. We were not aware that the parking spot was not located at the facility itself (that is for owners only). Though we had a handicap tag we often parked on 4. and above as there were no close spots designed for this type of parking.
For the most part the vacation was great, with just a few hiccups in the unit. Only negative restaurant was the Sea Captains House near 23rd St,. We had eaten there on 2 other occasions and enjoyed the food. This time, the only good thing that can be said was the server was amazing. Food was terrible (wilted salad that was warm, skin on the fried fish that was tough, food temperature lukewarm and very salty) Unfortunately, we won't be back to that eatery!
This stay overall was a 4.7 even with the few issues in the unit. We would stay there again.

Hey Joanne! Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback on our Crescent Shores #807 property. I noticed a lot of the problems you had came from the unit needing to be updated. With guests coming in all the time, sometimes back to back, all we really have time to do is let the housekeepers clean, between each guest. Things like the paint, and upkeep are more so done around November and December because we get really slow. It allows us to go in and do a yearly check up. We look at the paint on the walls and trim, state of the showers and sinks, the beds, and all furniture, etc. This is what we call an inventory. The painting, tile fixing, beds, and tv's are things we need to notify the owner about as this is their property. The sink and the shower are our maintenance, when you called they went in to take a look, according to our records, they came to take a look and fixed the problem. Our maintenance team works to do everything they can. I completely agree with you that everything you said does need to be updated, at this moment in time, the owner has been notified about everything in the rental that needs to be updated or touched up. They will be going into the rental the next time they can to make repairs and update what needs to be done. Unfortunately when it comes to Crescent Shores the HOA itself is who decides the parking. That being said, all parking is on a first come first serve, however there are a few handicapped spaces located outside the building itself. All guests with handicapped parking, are allowed to park under the building for easier access to the building. I am deeply sorry that there were so many undesirable factors during your stay with us, but please rest assured that we are and will be doing everything we can to make sure that these things are taken care of. Perfect relaxing vacation
Our stay was perfect. Waking up and looking out the window to see the waves crashing was a perfect start to each morning. Even with Covid-19 we had an excellent vacation. The staff was great at going around cleaning and sanitizing all the surfaces which was reassuring. The room was great. The furniture looked a little stiff in the pictures but they were super comfortable and when it rained we enjoyed time in the condo with games and movies. Being so close to the beach allowed for multiple trips during the day and lunch in the room. Overall was a perfect relaxing vacation and would recommend renting this unit.

2019/2020 three month stay
first time staying at Ocean/Beach. Spectacular sunrise each morning and fun to watch people on the beach. Best supply of pots, pans, dishes and new equipment of any condo we have rented. many upgrades and nicely decorated. Cresent Shores North Myrtle Beach Vacation 2019
My family of 10 had a great time. The Condo was clean and well kept including all amenities. It was our first time to stay there and we will plan to return. The only issue was trying to get to your room on Check-In day. Most everyone arrived around 4:00 pm on Saturday and the line for the elevator was very long. The staff kept it as organized as they could but it just took a while to use the elevator. That was the only issue but it wasn't as bad as WalMart trying to get groceries later that evening. After that everything went smooth

There is no easy fix, but we do try to get every guest accommodated as early as possible. Perfect Location
We enjoyed our stay and loved this location. It is right on the beach with a nice sized balcony overlooking the ocean and we enjoyed watching the waves and taking walks along the beach. The kitchen was very well equipped and we made most meals in the condo. We had a challenge figuring out the cable service but we finally worked it out on the third day. The condo was quiet and comfortable. We expected hair dryers in the bathrooms; however, there were none. I would still recommend these accommodations. Barefoot Landing was quite close as were the theaters offering Christmas shows.

The condo was really great. Plenty of room for our group and we enjoyed the balcony and the fantastic view.
Check in time (3:00) was very chaotic - consider waiting an hour and save yourself a headache.

The location of the Crescent Shores complex is popular for all of it's family-friendly amenities, from lazy river and indoor/outdoor pools to watersport rentals on the beach. The immediate area is perfect for enjoying a few easy local amenities, like Molly Darcy's beachside cafe, a giant beach souvenir shop and a family-owned hot dog and ice cream stand, all within steps of this condo. Condo Rental
Our condo rental was great--very clean and well kept. Loved the location and accessories that come with the Crescent Shores unit. The 7th floor is just perfect--away from the noise of the pool, and high enough to have the ocean view. Would recommend this unit to anyone.

spring break at Crescent Shores
A very nice unit with great beach view. Very spacious, good furniture and bedding. Minor comments -- cookware could be upgraded, very few pots and they were pretty scratched up, the towels are Holiday Inn grade -- given the towel fee, they should be much nicer. Lot of maintenance going on, the lazy river was closed and the parking deck was being powerwashed which forced us to move the car. But we enjoyed ourselves and would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your review. We would love to have you back again. Per your comments the pots & pans have been replaced and the kitchen is very well stocked. Unfortunately due to the hurricane last year a lot of the upgrades planned by the HOA were delayed. We do apologize for any inconvenience. Most of our guests comment that we have quality towels and sheets. Our guest service package does include the bed & bath linens, exit cleaning, starter supplies and a discount dining / golf card.
