Wonderful Mother’s Day weekend in North Myrtle Beach
Our family had a wonderful Mother’s Day weekend at this newly renovated house. Everything is brand new. Very convenient location that we can walk barefoot to the ice cream shop, mini mart, and the beach down the street. Fantastic ocean view from the decks while enjoying drinks. Our children were thrilled with their own place on the third floor.
We can’t wait to come back this summer to enjoy the newly installed above ground pool! The management staffs were very friendly and professional.

Beautiful vacation getaway rental! Had a great experience there!
I recently stayed in this rental with my large group of family and friends, and we had a wonderful time! The location is exquisite as it was located right by the beach (right down the road!) and multiple fun spots like the popular ice cream shop (a must try as lines were down the block!) and restaurants just a short walk away. Also, it was a short drive to multiple shopping centers and excursions. The rental itself is very spacious with comfortable rooms and open areas in the kitchen and living room for spending time together or eating meals. It was clean, well decorated with subtle beach themes, and perfect for a home away from home beach trip for our group. Our favorite part was the ability to book specific units as we were able to either stay on one unit with family, but we could also easily meet with the other family from their unit, allowing privacy for each group as well as accessible for coming together. I would highly recommend for small or large groups and definitely plan to book again this summer!

Not quite ready for summer guests
House has been recently renovated, with new paint, flooring and furniture. It looks nice; however, there are problems with the utilities.
We rented the "whole house"--when split into 3 rentals, the downstairs is split into 2 rentals, and the second and third floors are the 3rd rental.
The air conditioning in one of of the two downstairs rentals was not working. The units were flashing an error code--we looked up the instruction manual online, and it required a breaker reset to fix. Unfortunately the breaker boxes were old and unlabeled, so was unable to fix. Called rental company, and was told someone would come out to fix. The issue was never resolved (despite 2 call about the problem)--fortunately the weather cooled, and the air from the other downstairs unit was able to keep both spaces comfortable.
The air for the upstairs unit is not sufficient to cool the third floor space. There are only 2 small vents on the third floor, and the skylight windows are old and poorly insulated. We tired to cool the third floor with a fan blowing air up the stairs (a spiral staircase) but it was only marginally successful. In the afternoons and evening, the third floor was 10-15 degrees warmer, and would not be usable during the summer months.
The water pressure for the house was not enough to support more than one person (in the "whole house") taking a shower at the same time. The water didn't just slow down, it actually stopped running from the showerhead in the upstairs when a second shower was started in one of the downstairs showers, and would slow even when a faucet was turned on. This would be a huge issue if/when this is split into multiple rentals.
Also, the description does not say this, but parking is on the street. The houses next to us were not rented while we were there, but during a busier season, parking could be more complicated.

However, you are the first guest to rent this unit and mention these issues. The air conditioning is under warranty and has been replaced by the owner. We understand these concerns need immediate attention. We always encourage guests to notify us of anything they may need so we have the chance to make it right. However, we did come to the unit twice to service and assist with mechanical /appliance failures. Our team strives to provide a full-value experience for our guests. Owners are responsible for the upkeep of their overall units. The details of your review will be discussed at length with the owner. We hope that you will consider coming to see us again in the future to witness our various improvements.

Great Place
This was a perfect spot for a quick get away. Just the right size for the our family. My sister and her family were in one part, my other sister and her husband in the other and my family upstairs. We had a blast. Just a quick walk to the beach and stop at Molly Darcy's for happy hour. We had a family cook out in the back yard with the great charcoal grill. I would suggest to the owner more seating in the back yard and more storage in the kitchens. Over all we had a wonderful time. The staff at ODVR were wonderful to work with and they supplies anything we needed. I would especially like to commend Tracy and Leila for how great they were and how much they accommodated us.
